- July 21, 2020I just edited the description to clarify this feature. Bricks will be an "anything" builder. I just want to extend it to also allow you to visually build your WooCommerce store with Bricks. Community templates submitted by users is a feature I just added to the idea board ("User Submitted Templates"). Feel free to upvote it, if you like.
- July 18, 2020Make this an "anything" Builder by not restricting it to just WooCommerce. i.e. have an intermediate definition file that takes pre-built pages aka bricks templates and via the definition file converts to woocommerce pages. Maybe could also be retro applied to your brickswordpress conversions. Then in future can produce new definition files maybe even allow users to produce their own and publish them on a bricks user forum.

Role Manger
Replaces the old user roles with a new, more granular Role Manager, where you can set the following Bricks builder capabilities:- No access (User role can not edit with Bricks)
- Edit content (no DnD, no editing of CSS controls, no template import, etc.)
- Full access (User role can edit with Bricks without any restrictions)

Keyboard Shortcuts
Would love to add custom keyboard shortcuts to the builder. What are your favorite/most used shortcodes?Leave a comment:

- December 11, 2020I’d love to have shortcuts to jump between major sections of the builder (sections, hover, pages, etc), content vs. style buttons, and a shortcut to search for a block to add to the page (jump to add element, activate search bar). Shortcuts to manipulate blocks would be nice too (hold XYZ to clone or move on drag). Definitely shortcuts to toggle between viewports and turn on/off preview mode.

Adjust Spacing Visually (Margin & Padding)
Adjust your element spacing (margin, padding) by dragging your mouse on the canvas. No more heading over the settings panel to adjust those common CSS properties.Leave a comment:

Custom Fields (+ ACF Integration)
Load your custom fields data into elements such as text, heading, images, etc. This new feature will also add support to the popular Advanced Custom Fields plugin.Leave a comment:

Easy Digital Downloads Builder (EDD)
Have the option to visually build parts of the site for EDD (Easy Digital Downloads).Leave a comment:

User Submitted Templates
All "Community Templates" are currently provided by Bricks. I'd love to open this up so everyone can submit their own templates for the community to download. This would offer a much more varied and larger collection of templates. I'd also give Bricks template designers additional exposure as you can link your avatar to your portfolio, company homepage, etc.Leave a comment:

Add support to Openstreet Maps
In addition to Google Maps, add support to Openstreet Maps (www.openstreetmap.org) too. It can be the same block with the option to choose which map service use.Leave a comment:

One-Click Elementor Migration
Migrate any site built with Elementor to Bricks with a single click.Leave a comment:

- September 15, 2020I am planning to add migrations for the most popular builders first. So maybe Divi will be next. As this is such a massive task it will take a while to add migrations one by one. Just so you know :)
- September 14, 2020Good idea. The same perhaps for other builders, like Oxygen, Divi, WP Bakery?

Light & Dark Mode, Mobile Breakpoints, Floating Panel, Structure Toolbar, Undo/Redo, In-Builder Academy
Today is the day: Bricks 0.9 is finally live. First of all a massive “Thank You” to all beta testers for taking the time to submit your feedback. It greatly helped to shape this release.
Besides adding plenty of long-awaited new features this update focused on further improving Bricks’ performance, stability, UI/UX, and documentation. All in all this update brings 62 changes.
I retired the old knowledge base, rewrote all articles, recorded better videos, and launched them all under the brand new Bricks Academy. You can also access the Academy by clicking the “?” icon in the builder toolbar 😉
