Hi, I’m Mihai (Michael), a 27-year-old web designer based in Bucharest, Romania.

I’ve been building websites professionally for the past two to three years, and I’ve spent around five years learning web development, WordPress, UX, UI, SEO, and other related skills. I’m a jack of all trades, master of one.

For the past year, I’ve been collaborating with a New York-based agency and, more recently, with one in Michigan. We build custom websites and niche WaaS sites. Although I still have a few local clients from my early days, I haven’t taken on new local projects recently and don’t plan to.

While I’m skilled in UX, UI design, and SEO, my primary strength is web design – especially building sites using Bricks, ACF, WSForm, and similar tools. I handle design, support, and project management myself.

I initially trained as a UX/UI designer, so I prefer to design directly as I build instead of relying on Figma mockups. I use ACSS and Frames for my workflow, and for high-ticket custom builds, I use Frames for Figma. I prefer writing custom CSS because it keeps everything related to a class in one place rather than having to click through multiple tabs. Managing projects and handling support has taught me a lot through client feedback and troubleshooting. I absolutely hate debugging, but it’s a valuable skill, and I’ve gotten pretty good at it.

I’m proficient with WordPress, Bricks, HTML, and CSS, and I have solid skills in UX, UI, and SEO. I’m very good at building dynamic websites with ACF, work quickly, and can juggle five to seven projects at once. I also have a lot of experience with marketing and membership sites, although not in e-commerce.

In my opinion, choosing the right tools is crucial for web design and WordPress. The tools I use are reliable, flexible, and consistently deliver quality results without slowing me down. With Bricks, ACF, and WSForm, I can build pretty much anything.
